5 reviews for Sailrite Deluxe Fabricator — 220V Sewing Machine

  1. The Sail Loft –

We have been sewing sails and canvas covers for fifteen years. This Fabricator replaced an old clutch motor machine: the servo motor gives incomparable stitch control — you can sew slowly on delicate areas. The wide table lets you lay out a whole sail without it falling off. The investment paid for itself in one season.

  2. Dennis Fournier –

I sewed luff reinforcements and sun covers in heavy Dacron. The machine does not slow down and the stitch stays even through several layers. The long arm is a real comfort for large pieces. Delivered in four boxes, everything was protected.

  3. Isabel Rouault –

The sewing quality is beyond reproach. On the other hand it is a heavy machine: it took two of us to lift it onto the table, and I would recommend a very stable floor. Once in place it does not move. Tension adjustment takes a while at first but you get used to it.

  4. Michael Tanguy –

I re-cover 1950s armchairs with velvets and very heavy fabrics. The compound walking foot goes through every thickness, piping included. The needle never wanders. This is the third machine in my workshop and the most reliable.

  5. Natalie Guerin –

We make tarpaulins and blinds for trade customers. The machine keeps up over seven-hour days. A small criticism: the seam guide supplied is a bit short for large pieces and we bought a longer one. Otherwise nothing to report.
